CURRICULUM VITAE
XHOVALIN DELIA
Director & Painter Xhovalin Delia was born on April 29th, 1959, in Puke, Albania.
1978 Received A-level degree from Arts Lyceum.
1985 Received degree in Painting from Fine Arts Academy of Tirana.
Upon completion of these studies I undertook employment in an animation studio, "AFA Film Animation," as both director and painter.
1987 Produced five animation films using a variety of techniques.
1990 At the National Film Festival, I won a National Prize for my animation films.
1991 Festival
International du cinema d'Animation at Annecy, France, with the film "Who deserves this"
1991 National Exhibition "The Spring" at the National Gallery of Tirana.
1992 Exhibition at the National Gallery of Tirana.
1994, 1995, 1996 Exhibition at Galleria DEA in Florence.
1997 International exhibition "Occhi sul mondo," organized by the City of Florence.
1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 International exhibitions, by Galleria DEA and the City of Florence.
2002 Exhibition at the International Cultural Center of Tirana (postmodern theme)
2003 Exhibition at the International Cultural Center of Tirana (Performance)
2003 International exhibition (video) at the Palagio di Parte Guelfa, in the Sala di Brunelleschi, Florence.
2004 International postmodern exhibition on Tirana (performance, "Porta del paradiso").

2005 Short film "Aeroplanino"
2005 Performance to the Fine Arts Academy of Tirana including a promotion of my new book VENERE (a 280-page novel).
